Poison Orbs - Orbs that do damage to anyone that uses them, but much like Jammer Orbs, make it harder to use other orbs without getting rid of them. Jammer Orbs - Do nothing and make it harder to get/use other orbs. Heart Orbs - Allows users to heal themselves, as well as create forcefields. There are also a handful of non-elemental orbs that characters can make use of: Yellow/Light - Light Manipulation, Holy Manipulation, and Electricity Manipulation. Green/Wood - Earth Manipulation, Plant Manipulation, and Air Manipulation. Blue/Water - Water Manipulation and Ice Manipulation. While originally a game mechanic in the mobile game, they are now a well established part of the lore and are frequently used in the retail and anime adaptations of the series.Įach Orb is representative of different elements, and can sometimes channel multiple elements with just one color. Nearly all characters in Puzzle and Dragons can use Orbs, an invisible power source of energy that can be drawn from the environment around them to empower themselves or channel elemental energy attacks. And above all other monsters is Terra Dragon, who can easily oneshot entire populations of these monsters, and could possibly be the universe itself simply using avatars. There also exists monsters above even fully evolved normal monsters, these Legendary, God, and some Ultimate and Specialty monsters can compare to Idia creating multiple stars at once giving several groups of monsters Tier 4 ratings, and even beyond this there is Big Bang who was able to create multiple new dimensions, warp all of them with just its presence, and threaten to destroy them all to give some of the highest tier monsters Tier 2 ratings. However, fully evolved monsters and specialty monsters that can rival other fully evolved monsters have feats of reducing mountains to dust, shaking entire continents, and filling the entire planet with light, giving the high end of normal monsters Tier 6 feats of destructive capabilities. The very weakest of monsters are still treated as a threat to normal humans, and can sometimes wield weaponry like swords, and are generally Street Level. The monsters and various other characters of the verse can vary wildly in power.
